Check first

• Nothing is counting. Reload the video page once after installing or updating; Chrome doesn't start extensions in tabs that were already open. Check the site is one of the nine supported.
• The language isn't being labelled. It works in Chrome, Brave, Edge, Vivaldi, Opera, Arc and Firefox (140 or newer); Safari isn't supported. A voice under loud music can't be identified, and on YouTube the label then comes from the auto-generated captions after a couple of minutes.
• A video got the wrong language. This is the report worth sending. Include the video's address.
• The video went silent or stalled when the extension was on. Please report this straight away, with the site and the address; it is the one failure we treat as urgent.

Report a problem

Email ablomley04@gmail.com with:

• the site and, if it was one video, its address;
• the languages you already speak;
• what the panel said at the time, or a screenshot of it;
• your browser and its version: chrome://version in Chrome, or Help › About Firefox in Firefox.

If you're comfortable with it, the console on the video page (View › Developer › JavaScript Console in Chrome; Tools › Browser Tools › Web Developer Tools in Firefox) shows lines starting with [comprehensible]; those say exactly what the detector heard and decided, and pasting them gets a fix fastest. In Firefox the extension's own console is reached from about:debugging, under This Firefox, by pressing Inspect next to Kiku Hours.

Your data

Everything Kiku Hours records stays in your browser. Settings › Your data lets you back it up, restore it elsewhere, export it, or delete it. Removing the extension deletes it too, so back up first if you might come back.
